Continuing Professional Development
The coach that is assigned to your school will work closely with teachers and staff to mentor them across a 6 week period.
At the start of the 6 week period the coach will sit down with the teacher and discuss/show them the plan.
The plan will help both coach and staff to understand what stage they are up to across the 6 weeks.

How the plan will work
Week 1 - coach will deliver full PE lesson
Week 2 - teacher will deliver warm up activity.
Week 3 - teacher will deliver warm up and a cool down.
Week 4 - teacher will deliver warm up, and skill activity.
Week 5 - teacher will deliver main activity
Week 6 - teacher will deliver full PE lesson.
Teacher should always take notes when the coach is delivering.
How the event works
The event is for the full school to take part in. The sports hall or field will be split into 6-10 different games.

Every year group will take part for 1 hour out of the day. The year group will be split into small groups who will then work their way around the stations.

The games consist of
-
Target practice
-
Problem solving
-
Teamwork
-
Bingo
-
Balance
How Balance Bike Sessions work
Across 6 weeks every rider will have 180 minutes on a balance bike. Over this time, we introduce children to a balance bike and develop their basic movement patterns, dynamic balance and gross motor skills through a range of fun activities and games.

The aim of the sessions is to increase the child's confidence to glide on a balance bike with their feet off the floor.

The course teaches riders how to
-
Mount & dismount the bike
-
Manoeuvre the bike safely
-
Control the bike
-
Stop the bike

How the sessions are delivered
1 morning per week we deliver a 2 hour session split into 4 30 minutes. Every 30 minutes we deliver to a maximum of 12 children giving a total of 48 riders per session.
How Sports Days work
We are in charge of organizing your school's sports day, including planning all the events, coordinating teams, and providing equipment if needed.
Each station on the field will be overseen by a coach or teacher who will manage and score the event for each group. After completing an event, groups will rotate to the next station where a new instructor will be waiting.
A designated student from each team will keep track of scores and hand them in at each station.
How PPA works
The coach will have complete responsibility for the class during the entire lesson, starting from registration if necessary. They will assist the class with changing for PE and lead the lesson while managing behavior. After the lesson, the coach will accompany the class back to the classroom to change.
During PPA time, one of our coaches can work over lunch to engage a group of students in various sports activities, including;
-
Basketball
-
Cricket
-
Football
-
Dodgeball
-
Tag Rugby
-
Multi skills / fun games
